Yesterday I was interviewed by Pete Mitchell again, this time for a Virgin Radio documentary on the Bohemian Rhapsody biopic, which premieres at the end of October. We talked about the period of Queen’s history covered by the film, from Freddie’s birth and childhood, to the formation of Queen and events up to and including their legendary Live Aid appearance.
It was also an opportunity to plug The Dead Straight Guide To Queen again. I’m hoping increased interest in Queen might give sales of the book a boost, following the release of the film and in the run-up to Christmas.
I’ll be at the world premiere of Bohemian Rhapsody on 23rd October, at Wembley Arena. I’ll probably post my thoughts on the film here after that.
