This Day In Music’s Guide To Queen published

.

It’s taken a while to get to this point but I can now confirm that The Dead Straight Guide To Queen has been picked up by This Day In Music Books. They have published the second edition, under its new title: This Day In Music’s Guide To Queen.

The publication of the second edition has given me the opportunity to make over 100 minor corrections and tweaks, fix a couple of factual inaccuracies, and write an updated section on the Bohemian Rhapsody biopic, plus a new introduction.

This Day In Music’s Guide To Queen tells the complete story of Queen and their music in one essential book. It provides the histories of the band and its members, giving you a guide to their lives and recordings. Written to appeal whatever your level of knowledge, it’s accessible enough for the newcomer, but detailed enough for the diehard fan.

I’m really pleased to have joined the This Day In Music Books stable of writers and to see my Queen book listed alongside their many brilliant music titles.

This Day In Music’s Guide To Queen is available through most major online booksellers and selected book shops.

  1. Hello! I plan to buy this book for sure, but I’m also wondering where I can find a copy of “Queen Song by Song”. I see it mentioned on various forums and sites, but I cannot find a way to buy it. Do you know where/if it’s being sold?

  2. Hi Angela, Thanks for taking the time to get in touch. ‘Queen Song by Song’ was included with a smartphone app called ‘This Day in Queen’, one of a range of apps produced by This Day In Music Apps. Unfortunately the apps were discontinued a few years ago and ‘Queen Song by Song’ isn’t currently available. Perhaps I should talk to my publisher about getting it released in print and as an ebook. If that happens I’ll announce it on this website.
