Over five years after embarking on a This Day In Music Apps project it appears finally to be on the verge of bearing some fruit. I’ve been asked by Red Planet Publishing if I’m interested in writing the latest in their Dead Straight Guides series of books on major rock artists. I’ve contributed to a couple of books in their I Was There series and they know about the research and writing work I did for the ‘This Day In’ series. I was introduced to Red Planet Publishing by the guys at This Day In Music, who I’ve worked with quite a lot over the past few years.
